Föreningen för Underliga Intressen vid Åbo Akademi r.f. proudly presents the ”Manga Drawing Contest” where YOUR creativity is the center of the attention.

Let your imagination flow free in creating the most awesome master piece of manga-art. Following the theme of Science Fiction & Fantasy as your inspirational guidelines you may create a story, event or universe unique to your creativity and personality. The contestant is free to interpret this theme as they see fit and therefore you may put your favorite characters in a new situation, or create your own epic hero!

The purpose is to create a poster-like drawing. It may consist of many parts like a manga-cartoon or it may be a stand-alone picture. The latter, however, is preferred as it may be very difficult to judge a whole cartoon to a stand-alone picture.
